Maheu&Maheu Insecticide Dust is mainly composed of diatomaceous earth and pyrethrins. Pyrethrins are an active ingredient that attack the nervous system of insects. They have a great knock-down effect and are extracted from chrysanthemum flowers. Their toxicity to mammals is relatively low.

Diatomaceous earth comes from the fossilized skeletons of small aquatic organisms. It acts by perforating the cuticle of insects and other arthropods causing death by dehydration. Diatomaceous earth can remain effective for several years.

This dust can be applied in cracks and crevices, structural voids and hard-to-access areas. Its toxicity to mammals is relatively low. However, this insecticide dust is very volatile and can be irritating to the respiratory tract. Wearing a dust mask is strongly recommended.
